Outreach Committee:  to assist members and visitors to assimilate into the life and fellowship of Westminster.  Meets on the first Thursday of the month.  Membership is a sub-committee of Outreach whose specific responsibility is to receive new members.  

 

Worship Committee:  assist the pastoral staff in designing and implementing divine worship.  This committee oversees the decorating of the church, the music ministry and special worship events.  Worship Committee meets on the first Thursday of every month (September-May) at 7 p.m.

 

Finance Committee:  meets on a regular quarterly basis to develop the budget, receive the financial reports and assist session in financial decisons. 

 

Building and Grounds Committee:  has the oversight of the building and maintenance concerns.  This committee meets on the first Thursday of the month at 6 pm. 

 

Christian Education Committee:  recruits, trains and directs the education ministry for Westminster.  This committee meets on the first Thursday of the month at 6:30 pm.

 

Communications Committee:  is responsible for developing ways to improve communications with and between members and friends of Westminster.  Oversight of the web-site, publications, advertising and other means of informing and educating.

 

Mission Committee:  directs the faithful stewardship of mission dollars as they determine specific mission opportunities for Westminster.  This committee meets on the first Thursday of the month at 6:00 pm.
